We support organizations through learning and change, so that they can more effectively address the pressing issues of our time. We work primarily with the nonprofit and public sectors, in French and English.
The work we do with organizations, community groups, and individuals often focusses around these themes:
Aligning values and practice
Clarifying vision and goals
Strengthening your team
Building structures and system
Developing anti-oppressive practices
We are passionate about attending to the complex human relationships that are at the center of any organization. By creating spaces where people can be caring, authentically themselves, seen and heard, we find that groups become more honest and find more clarity and alignment.
At Vegelocity, water conservation is essential. We use drip irrigation systems to deliver moisture directly to plant roots, reducing evaporation and runoff. Additionally, we monitor soil moisture and weather data to ensure we’re only watering when needed, minimizing waste while maximizing plant health.
We are committed to living into our anti-racist, feminist, disability justice and queer political ideals. These are lenses through which we view the world, approaches that inform our decisions and actions, and ideas that we are excited to share with others. We come to these politics through our direct lived experience, our involvement with social justice movements, and through studying the work of brilliant scholars in this area.
We believe we must both address the structural and material ways those systems of oppression are present in our organizations, as well as pay attention to the deeply personal and emotional work that is required to lead this change.
Every workplace is unique, and we are committed to building a relationship with you that takes into account the complexity and specificity of your organization.
We want to help groups articulate what is true for them, to say what is hard to say, and to hear each other’s experiences in new ways. Honest storytelling allows us to tap into wisdom and insight, and to see the new paths forward.
Organizational change is made easier by being playful, being open, and trying new things.
